FREE RESOURCES - FONTS :
A little lower I have put a list of 10 websites to download fonts. There are many more, and I suppose that some more complete than these (if you say tell me, I will include them enchanted).
Before getting there, I wanted to say that the fonts are also owned by an author and therefore can have copyrighted.
Notice that although this section of free resources, I said that the list is of 10 websites where you can download sources, without specifying whether they are free or not. This is because although many sites offer free downloads of fonts, maybe many of them are not.
Maybe some are completely freeware, or that can only be used for personal use, noncommercial use, or may not be free for any use.
In the case where the source is not free, will be purchased from the copyright owner to use it, or at least ask if we can use it.
Therefore, when we download a font, you have to look at who has the copyright. This can be seen by downloading the font file, because that information is or within the same file, or has an added text file that specifies it.
In the best case, in the fonts you downloaded it is clearly detailed, if it is free to use or if it is not in its many variants. Then comes the multitude of cases where the source specifies a copyright but nothing more, and the download site assures us that it is free. In such cases I, as webmaster, I prefer not to use it.
Here are two examples of free fonts and one another that it is not:
